The Sales Intake Specialist – Personal Injury (Weekend Coverage) is responsible for converting inbound and outbound leads into signed clients during weekend hours, when the organization's in-house team has reduced availability.
Using approved intake scripts that balance urgency, empathy, and legal compliance, the specialist will confidently lead conversations, guide potential clients through the necessary intake questions, and close for a signed retainer on the initial call whenever possible.
This position requires strong sales and communication skills, precise CRM management, persistent follow-up, and consistent achievement of conversion and case sign-up targets across Saturday and Sunday operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Conversion & Intake
- Convert inbound and outbound leads into signed clients using approved scripts.
- Lead conversations confidently, guiding potential clients through the intake process rather than simply following their lead.
- Apply urgency, empathy, and legal compliance throughout every interaction.
- Ask for the signed retainer on the initial call whenever possible, while ensuring the conversation feels natural to the potential client.
- Handle objections professionally and effectively to maximize case sign-ups.
CRM & Record Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records for all leads and clients.
- Log communications and case statuses promptly.
- Maintain data integrity and confidentiality at all times.
Follow-Up & Client Engagement
- Persistently follow up with leads through phone, email, and messaging platforms.
- Address potential client questions and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Ensure timely responses to all client inquiries during weekend coverage.
Performance & Reporting
- Meet or exceed individual conversion-rate and case sign-up targets.
- Maintain consistent call volume throughout weekend shifts.

Qualifications
- Associate degree.
- 3–6 years of experience in a similar intake or sales role.
- Proven ability to confidently lead conversations and close signed agreements on the initial call.
- Experience working with CRM systems, e-signature platforms, dialer/call software, Google Workspace, and internal messaging tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent listening and objection-handling abilities.
- Strong empathy combined with the assertiveness necessary for a sales-oriented intake environment.

- Consistent availability to work Saturday and Sunday.

Work Schedule

One of the following schedules will apply and will be confirmed with the candidate before onboarding:
- Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday & Sunday: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Candidates will also be asked to provide their full weekly availability.
Although the current requirement is strictly for weekend coverage, broader availability may allow the position to expand into weekday or evening hours in the future, such as a Saturday-through-Thursday arrangement, depending on organizational needs.
